It's rare during the school year for us to have a day after school where someone doesn't have to be somewhere. So today when I realized no one had any obligations, we piled in the car to head to the local fall festival. I got not one but TWO frames with all four of them. That is a near miracle. It was a good day spent together.

in the frame again...
My six year old took a picture for Reflections contest at school...and this is what he got. Me and my youngest hugging. It counts for me getting in the frame this month.
face paint...
When you come home from a shoot and it's dark and your son has gotten his face painted at a fall festival he went to with his friend, you take him outside to take his picture by the front porch light. Seems fitting for spiderman right?

a group portrait....
Sometimes a group portrait is in order and getting 5 kids to stand there and look at you for two seconds is a small miracle. I am grateful for the time I got to spend with Leah Zawadzki and her family while we were in So Cal.

mother nature's show
We stood and watched as mother nature put on a pretty amazing show for us...
