I kinda fell in love with this lady (Laura Morita) this past weekend...she is so dang funny and full of life I even laughed so hard I snorted....and I hadn't done that in a while. I also found that when shooting in a big group I had a hard time feeling inspired to shoot...as everyone was shooting the same thing...so I slooooowwwwed down my shutter and did a little experiment with the hair toss...
she whips her hair back and forth...
This is what happens when 5 photographers pile in a car, chase the sunset and get to the Great Salt Lake right as it goes down....this lady (Kristin Cook) is one of my new favorite people...and she pretty much has the MOST amazing hair I have ever seen.
my first photography conference....
When you have to lead a shooting demo at 3:30 in the afternoon at a Click Away, you have to get creative. Kirsty Larmour (who I admire on many levels) was gracious enough to allow me to photograph her two gorgeous daughters.... AND it's pretty intimidating to shoot with all eyes on you.

I actually got him to somewhat willingly let me photograph him. I'll take what I can get from this guy....even when he mutters "this is the worst day of my life" as I am taking his picture. :)
