Today we had a little adventure. We walked on a frozen lake. It was the very first time for all of us.
twirling and whirling

Dance recital day…lots of twirling, whirling, curling, make-up and sequins. It's pretty much the only day all these things are acceptable for girls your age. It was so awesome to see you two both up on that stage on the same night for the first time. You were both so proud of yourselves and each other…and so was I!
always shooting hoops

My view, though the bare branches, out the dirty window, every single evening as he shoots hoops…no matter what the temperature or the weather. One of his main goals this year is to never wear pants to school…only shorts. We have lofty goals around here and so far he is achieving it.
